Meet The Doctor
Philip Hartman, D.D.S.
Dr. Hartman graduated from Wisconsin University with a bachelor’s degree in 1968. He received his doctorate from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1972 and then spent two years in the army stationed at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Hartman completed his residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans in 1976. He then taught at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry from 1976 to 1978. Dr. Hartman established his practice in Studio City in 1976 where he has enjoyed being a valued member of this community ever since.
Dr. Hartman began training in the methodology and theory of implantology twenty years ago as this technology was beginning. He takes great pride in exceeding the annual continuing education requirements to maintain and update his expertise as a periodontist and implant specialist. His interest in cutting edge technology and providing the best care for his patients is why he is one of the first periodontists to introduce laser use in periodontal dentistry.
